The goal of Songbird Law Corporation (SBL) is to empower First Nations and their membership towards economic independence by providing information, knowledge, and legal advice. 

All too often, First Nations and their members do not have the knowledge, capacity or resources to make independent, informed decisions.  At SBL, our mission is to help First Nations ensure their voices are heard, and to assist them as they strive to take their rightful place in Canadian society.  Consultation, accommodation, revenue sharing, training, employment and business opportunities - as well as addressing historical grievances - are just a few of the ways in which First Nations can gain meaningful participation and community sustainability.
